Dear heart, it's been quite a while now

You've been though a lot,some happy, some sad

But we won't get into when, where and how

I say we enjoy the good and forget the bad



You've been my friend in happiness and in pain

So I say we forget the past and start over again



No more pain for you,no more heart brakes

We'll be happy even if we are on our own

No more false promises,I'll do what it takes

I was childish before,but now I've grown



You did your part, I never thought you were there

So heart, together we'll go far, some place elsewhere



We had decent times together,some nice memories

But then I cared for others more than I did for you

I put a lock on you and gave someone else the keys

Both of us suffered bad due to me, that's true



You tried to tell me, you tried to warn,you tried your best

But I was in a frenzy then,but you never took a rest



Now that I am alone again , it's just you and me

You've had enough, much more than your own share

Now that I am in the light, finally I can see

You are fragile, and from now I'll handle you with care
