The rocks have weathered down a bit
People don’t come here, nor they sit
It’s a place forgotten but I still care
You left me here but I am still there
There’s the familiar old run down mill
I look for you there everyday still
There’s the statue of the lady so fair
You are not present but I am still there
Remember the lovely autumn sun
And the ripe apples we had so much fun
There’s the swing, empty now, a blank stare
You are gone but I am still there
Whenever you ever blink you lovely eyes
Or when you look up at the open skies
Whenever you ever breathe fresh air
Just remember I am waiting I am still there
