Open Blue Sky

I wonder what all has changed from then
It’s been so long I don’t quite know when
When was it when I decided to decide
I left you but you will always with me reside

I tried to convince you but you didn’t try
So here I was alone under the open blue sky

It was a difficult path this life, so many days
I felt lonely and was a stranger to the new ways
But I decided to stick around I had to fight
I had a mission and I had that in sight

So I did not give up neither did I cry
When I struggled alone under the open blue sky

Soon life adopted me like I was its own
I was gathering pieces that were usually thrown
And then my life started to have its own name
I was now a familiar player, not new to this game

I gave my life a meaning and more did I try
Every time I thought of you under the open blue sky
What you had sown earlier now I do reap
I bundled my past away and put it in a heap
Now I get what I want I live my dreams
I don’t miss you now or so it seems

Earlier I used to walk but now I have learnt to fly
Now I rule , I rule under the open blue sky
